1. Overview

Indi Engine AI (“we”, “our”, “the software”) is a self-hosted zero-code app-building platform that can connect to third-party services such as Google Drive to import files and context data to be ingested into an AI model of the user’s choice — for automatic application generation.  By installing, deploying, or using Indi Engine AI, you (“you”, “your”, “the user”) agree to the following Terms of Service.

2. Self-Hosted Responsibility

  • Indi Engine AI is provided as self-hosted software.
  • Each user or organization that deploys an instance is fully responsible for securing, maintaining, and operating their environment.
  • The Indi Engine AI vendor does not operate, monitor, or have access to user-hosted instances, files, or data.
  • Users must ensure their deployment complies with all applicable laws, including privacy and data-protection regulations.

3. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to use Indi Engine AI to:

  • Violate any law or regulation.
  • Upload or distribute malicious software or copyrighted material without authorization.
  • Misuse Google OAuth or other integrated services in a way that violates those providers’ terms of service.

Violation of these terms may result in revocation of license or support eligibility.

4. Google Integration

When connecting to Google Drive or other Google APIs, Indi Engine AI acts solely as an intermediary between the user and Google’s services.

  • The connection is authenticated via OAuth 2.0.
  • Files and metadata are stored only within the user’s own Indi Engine AI instance.
  • The Indi Engine AI vendor does not retain or transmit any Google user data.

Use of Google services through Indi Engine AI is subject to Google’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

5. License and Usage Rights

Indi Engine AI is proprietary software owned by the Indi Engine AI vendor.  At this stage, Indi Engine AI is provided only through vendor-assisted installations and is not publicly downloadable.  Deployments are made available to selected users and organizations for evaluation and demonstration purposes, under direct supervision or assistance of the vendor.  Users are not permitted to redistribute, resell, or provide hosting services based on Indi Engine AI without prior written authorization.  A community edition with limited usage and a commercial version will be released in the future after completion of the Sencha OEM licensing process.  All rights not expressly granted remain reserved.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Indi Engine AI is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.  This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.  The user assumes all responsibility for configuring and maintaining their deployment, including backup, security, and compliance.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Indi Engine AI vendor shall not be liable for:

    • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
    • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from the installation or use of Indi Engine AI, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

Users may discontinue using Indi Engine AI at any time by removing their deployment.  The vendor reserves the right to discontinue distribution or updates of Indi Engine AI software without prior notice.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Indi Engine AI vendor operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
